Community Program for New or Aspiring Business Owners in the Dothan Area
The Sorrell College of Business and Troy University IDEA Bank have partnered with UAB Marnix E. Heersink Institute for Biomedical Innovation, the University of Notre Dame, and the Entrepreneurship Council to offer a unique and intensive program for individuals in the Dothan and/or surrounding areas who have goals of starting a business of their own. Note that you do not need to be a current Troy University.
The Dothan Community Entrepreneurship Program seeks to help those in the Dothan area facing economic or other hardships to start and grow a business of their own. The program includes six Saturday "Boot Camp" sessions followed by individual mentoring and consulting, including assistance with research and identifying funding.
The Bootcamp is held on the following Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Health Center South in Dothan.
