Our Small Business Summer Workshop Series is in full swing! Join us for a range of sessions designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to take your business to the next level. July topics include banking strategies for small businesses, maximizing resources for your business, exceeding profitability, and much more. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn from industry experts and network with fellow entrepreneurs. Sessions are on Wednesdays from 11:30-1 p.m. and include lunch + resource sharing. Did you see the news? The IDEA Bank is opening a storefront! The innovative partnership between the Sorrell College of Business and Student-Made Store will showcase our students’ creativity and entrepreneurial spirit by offering them a platform to market and sell their products. TROY’s Student-Made Store will open in Fall 2024 and will be located inside the IDEA Bank, conveniently sitting on the Downtown Troy square.
Upcoming JUST START High School Entrepreneurship Summer Camp
The “Just Start” High School Entrepreneurship Summer Camp is one week away! We're excited to welcome a new group of budding high school entrepreneurs from across the region. Throughout the camp, students will learn the fundamentals of starting and running a business, including how to pitch their idea and build their network. The program concludes with a pitch competition and the opportunity for one young entrepreneur to win a $2,000 scholarship to Troy University. Follow along with the camp's progress on Facebook + Instagram and cheer on these young innovators as they embark on their entrepreneurial journey.
Join us at the end of the week on Saturday, July 20, to witness student entrepreneurs pitch their businesses and enjoy a luncheon celebrating the participants’ efforts. Those unable to attend in person are invited to tune in via Troy University IDEA Bank on Facebook at 9:15 a.m. to view the pitch presentations.
