Mark Your Calendars for December 4th: A Day of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Holiday Cheer!
We invite you to a day of innovation, entrepreneurship, and holiday cheer on Wednesday, December 4th! Two incredible events will come together to showcase the talents, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of students at Troy University.
1. Annual Business Idea Competition
Join us as students from across Troy’s campus compete for a share of $4,500 in startup capital for their business! Hosted by the IDEA Bank and Sorrell 360 Center and powered by the Regions Foundation Troy Starters program, this competition will showcase innovative ideas coming to life.
The competition will conclude an eight-week training program and will be followed by a celebratory luncheon. We invite the community to join us and meet the next wave of Troy’s entrepreneurial startups!
2. Jingle Fest Student Business Holiday Market
After the competition, join us once again to dive into the holiday spirit at Jingle Fest, an annual holiday market featuring unique products, handmade goods, and services by Troy University student entrepreneurs. From festive holiday gifts to other unique finds, this is the perfect opportunity to support our student businesses while finding those one-of-a-kind presents.
The market will be filled with the buzz of Troy’s Student-Made local talent, perfect for holiday shopping or just enjoying a festive afternoon. Complimentary gift wrapping, hot chocolate, and even Santa will all join us for this vibrant night!
TROY Student Businesses are invited to participate! Students interested in being a vendor must be signed up as a Student-Made Creator by November 15th. Visit here to apply!
Both events are open to the public, so bring your friends, family, and colleagues to be part of this day of celebration at the IDEA Bank!
