How to Create A Career From Your Passion at 20
The Entrepreneurship Week Keynote Reception featured a special presentation from Tyden Rickard, a 20-year-old entrepreneur from Dothan, Alabama, and author of “You’re Just a Statistic.” He delivered powerful words on how to pursue entrepreneurship at a young age. October Opportunity of the Month
TikTok is hosting a "block party" for small businesses! You'll learn how to use the hottest new social media platform to create content for your audience and grow your business. Join us at the IDEA Bank for a lunch party with other small business owners and entrepreneurs as we discuss how to best use the platform.
If you can’t make it to the lunch party, you can still stream the event virtually! Register Now and let us know.

The IDEA Bank is open as a multifunctional community asset. This is your home too! A few resources we can provide to you:
Conference rooms for use as a workspace or professional meeting location
Use of the entire space for a networking event, large group meeting or workshop
The IDEA Bank does not charge a rental fee if your event fits within our mission of fostering regional economic growth, entrepreneurship and/or community collaboration.
Free business consulting for students.
The IDEA Bank’s Student Launchpad Program is designed for entrepreneurial-minded students who have an idea but need some extra guidance to launch it. Book an introductory meeting with an IDEA Bank advisor to get started on your action plan. This service is only for current Troy University students.
Student Spotlight: Alaina Burnham
We met Alaina during Entrepreneurship Week and were quickly drawn to her entrepreneurial spirit and unique mission. Alaina founded Spread Light in an effort to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. She sells various types of apparel and merchandise, donating a portion of her profits to pediatric cancer research. Read more about her mission and shop her catalog at www.spreadlightapparel.com.
